The Blind Side

Playing Favourites . . .

I fell in love with these robeez the minute I saw them, thanks to B. :p The jeans are also one of my favourite items from back when Tash wore them. Now they have been handed down for Kate to wear. Sadly at just short of 5w Kate is starting to outgrow her 0-3m stuff and soon I'll have to pack up these jeans. They will probably be one of a few items of the girls clothes I won't sell.

My husband graciously held her in a standing position so I could capture this moment. :0)

Lions, Tigers & Bears Oh My!

Spent the day today at the zoo with two lovely friends. Due to the slight chill in the air a lot of the animals that in the summer are snoozing in the grass were up and moving around.

Glee!

It's been really nice the last few days so Tash has been coming with me to get the mail, something she loves doing. She was giggling so much that most of the photos I took of her while we were out are of her eyes squint-y or closed, but I think her expression captures her personality well. :0)

Kate is still too young to enjoy either of these toys I bought her for Christmas, but Tash has been having fun playing with them. Funny how all the 'baby' toys for Kate grasp N's attention unlike they did when she was wee.

Stupid Gate

I hate this gate. It jams all the time and the latch does not function correctly. I had to fight with it this morning when I was trying to bring the recycling bin in from the curb.

Day 5

Meal planning always seems to keep our grocery costs low and life so much easier when it comes to meals, yet I fall off the 'wagon' all the time. This year I'm going to try and keep it up on a weekly basis.

Vintage Toy

What kid did not have the "classic" Tupperware Shape Sorter growing up? Today's inspiration for this photo was garnered from photography msg board I haunt. They are also doing a Project 365 and do a weekly 'theme'. This week's theme was "Red". During an early theme of "shapes" someone took this photo of a shape sorter which inspired me to try my own 'angle' on it.

Tash loved this thing at about age 1-2 and hopefully her little sister will get as much enjoyment out it as well.
